Jeff Fryman, a beloved husband, step-father, papa and dear friend, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at his home. Jeff was born on September 18, 1960 in Iron County, a son to the late Junior Fryman and the late Polly (Yarbrough) Wood. On November 12, 1988 Jeff was united in marriage to Patty Gibson and they shared 33 years together.
Those who remain to cherish Jeff’s memory include his wife, Patty Fryman; two step sons: Nick Elliott (wife, Pam), Bryan Elliott (wife, Amber); four grandchildren: Carson, Makayla, Myles, Briar; two sisters: Stephanie Johnston (husband, Don), Jill Franklin (husband, Cory); mother-in-law, Shirley Gibson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Debbie and Craig Lilley, Dale and Mary Anna Gibson, Jimmy and Cheryl Gibson, Mike and Kim Gibson; uncles: Leo “Cotton” Fryman, Pug and Shirley Fryman, and Ronnie and Sharon Fryman. Jeff also leaves behind nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
In addition to his father and mother, Jeff was preceded in death by his step father, Ron Wood; father-in-law, Rev. Rolla Gibson.
A time of visitation will be held Friday, December 10, 2021 from 5 to 8 PM at DeClue Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 9 to 10 AM.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 10 AM held in the DeClue Chapel. Pastor Dwight Jones will officiate his service.
Interment will follow at Redbud Memorial Gardens. DeClue Funeral Home was honored to have served and ministered to Jeff’s family and friends.
