Janie Yount

Janie Maebell Yount of Cedar Hill, Missouri, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2019 at her residence having reached the age of eighty-three years, eleven months and eight days. She was born on June 16, 1935 in Palmer, Missouri, a daughter to the late Steven Welker and the late Flossie (White) Welker. On June 17, 1951, Janie was nuited in marriage to Marvin Leon Yount.

Survivors include her four children: Steven (Karen) Yount, Paul (Lisa) Yount, Pamela (Donald) Swaringim and Peggy Yount; three brothers: Carl Welker, Dale Welker and Max (Fern) Welker; seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren; also surviving are nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Janie was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Leon Yount; daughter, Patricia Coffman; son-in-law, Bobby Coffman; and two sisters-in-law: Verna May Welker and Virgie Massie Welker.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 26, 2019 from 3-5 PM at the DeClue Funeral Home.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday at 5 PM held in the DeClue Chapel. Interment will follow in the Antioch Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted into the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi.
