Janet Riddle

February 11, 1945 — March 1, 2022

Janet Faye Riddle of Cadet, Missouri, was born on February 11, 1945 in St. Louis, a daughter to Raymond Richards and Alberta (Henson) Richards. On July 3, 1961, Janet was united in marriage to Dennis “Denny” Riddle at Fellowship Baptist Church in Potosi and they shared nearly 38 years of life and memories together. Janet passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, surrounded by her family, having reached the age of 77.

Janet loved her her family, especially her children and grand-babies. She enjoyed every moment she spent with them. If you ever went to visit her, you never left hungry because she always made sure everyone was fed. Janet enjoyed flowers and working outside in her flower garden. Janet was a hard worker in general. Some of her favorite memories was when her and Denny managed the Rivermont Camp Ground located off highway 47. She found joy in hosting all the campers and always had a great time. Janet was soft spoken and kind hearted. One of her favorite things to do was playing cards with her girlfriends on Tuesday’s. Janet will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

Those left behind to cherish her memory include her three children: Randall Riddle, Kerri Riddle and fur baby Alfie, and Angela Riddle; two grandchildren: Jessica Riddle and Fiancé Corey Blair, and Nick Revelle; great grandson, Gunner Blair; five siblings: Allene Rhodes (husband, Ernie), Sonny Richards (wife, Betty), Patsy Meyer, Roger Richards (wife, Penny), and Kathy Sexton. Janet also leaves behind nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Denny Riddle on May 2, 1999; two sisters: Sandy Compton and Loretta Parsley; brother-in-law, Tim Sexton; and other dear family members.
