Janet Richards

October 20, 1962 — May 12, 2010

Janet Sue Richards of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on May 12, 2010 at Bonne Terre, Missouri having reached the age of forty seven years, six months and twenty two days. She was born on October 20, 1962 at Farmington, Missouri a daughter to the late William DeClue and Gracie (Beck) DeClue.

Janet will be remembered as a kind and gentle person. She was a caring wife, mother and grandmother. As well as a devoted pet owner. She spent her recent life in daily prayer for her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Janet was preceded in death by a granddaughter Azalea Anne Fleming.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her husband Terry Richards of Mineral Point; daughter Crystal Fleming and husband Ryan of Ballwin, son Christopher Richards of St. Genevieve; sister Judy Owens of Potosi; four brothers Bobby DeClue and wife Georgia of Desoto; Billy DeClue and wife Joyce of Steelville, John DeClue of Cherryville, Jim DeClue of Potosi; two grandchildren Ian Fleming and Prairie Fleming; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Monday, May 17, 2010 at 11 AM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Rick Wade officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Dakota McMahan, Jordan Richards, Brad Turnbough, Kyle Turnbough, Robbie Warden, Eric DeClue and Bill DeClue.

Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
