Janet Hopkins

Janet Marie Hopkins of Cadet, Missouri departed this life October 24, 2010 at her residence having reached the age of fifty eight years, nine months and twenty three days. She was born on January 1, 1952 at Desoto, Missouri a daughter to the late Joseph Sansoucie and Pauline (Moss) Sansoucie.

Janet was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Some of her favorite pastimes were sewing, playing cards, spending time with her grandchildren and family and drinking coffee. She loved her coffee.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are a son Charles Hayes of Wyoming; two daughters Kelley Hopkins and fiancé Matthew Phares of Potosi; Melissa Hopkins of Cadet; respected friend Marty Hopkins of Desoto; four sisters Diana Golden and husband George of Potosi; Brenda Kraft and husband Randy of Illinois; Mary Wilson and husband Brian of Pevely; Marilyn Nelson and husband Rodney of Potosi; two brothers Joseph Sansoucie and wife Tina of Potosi; Ricky Sansoucie and wife Donna of Mineral Point; six grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

A private memorial will be held at a later date.

All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
