James Woods

James Milton Woods of Mineral Point, Missouri was born on April 20, 1945, a son to the late Fred Woods and the late Goldie (Colyotte) Woods. On October 11, 1973, Milton was united in marriage to Alberta Irene Skiles and they shared forty-five years together.

In addition to his parents, Milton is preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle Lynn Woods; grandson, Zach Mewborn; and siblings: Bill, Freddie, Pauline, Alice, and Armindia Rosie.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Irene Woods; son, James (Stephanie) Long; daughter, Kim Long; granddaughter, Raven Mewborn; and many dear nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held at Hopewell Community Church on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, beginning at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will to honor Milton began at 1:00 PM on Wednesday with Pastor Robert Wade officiating. Honoring Milton by serving as pallbearers were James Woods, Clarence Woods, Dennis Sumpter, Nick Sumpter, Rusty Bievenue, Dwayne Bievenue, and Joel Russell.

Interment and final prayers were held at Hopewell Cemetery. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by DeClue Funeral Home.
