James Austin Mosier of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on June 28, 2011 at the Georgian Gardens Nursing Home having reached the age of seventy three years, four months and twelve days. He was born on February 16, 1938 at Stoney Point, Missouri a son to the late Luther Mosier and Lola (Henderson) Mosier.
On June 1, 1962, James was united in marriage to Ruth Kirby and they shared forty nine years together.
In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a brother Woodrow Mosier; two sisters Norma Gorda, Barbara Morris and a brother in law Lee Richardson.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Ruth Mosier of Mineral Point; daughter Mary Drennen and husband Kenneth of Hopewell; son Scott Mosier of St. Louis; two sisters Rosemary Hampton of Winfield; Ouita Glore of Stoney Point; brother Lester Mosier and wife Wilma of Stoney Point; grandson Kenny Drennen of Hopewell; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, July 2, 2011 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Mark Hampton, Eddie Herbert, Roger Mosier, Leonard Todd, Micky Mosier and Roger Todd.
Interment at Adams Cemetery, Frankclay. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
