James Mccaul

James F. McCaul III of Potosi, Missouri went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at his home on the Indian Springs Farm having reached the age of Eighty five. He was born on April 3, 1929 in Nashville, Tennessee, a son to the late James F. McCaul II and Naomi (Green) McCaul. On November 24, 1950, James was united in marriage to Avelene Switzer and they shared sixty four years together. Survivors include his wife Avelene McCaul; three sons Dr. Jim and Dr. Debbi McCaul, Chris McCaul and Alexander and Judy McCaul. Also surviving are fifteen grandchildren. His son Jamie and granddaughter Nicole are with him in Heaven. He earned a degree in Civil Structural Engineering from Vanderbilt University, was the City of Potosi and Washington Counties Engineer, a Licensed Land Surveyor and consulted extensively for the U.S. Corps of Engineers in the Middle East. Friends may call on the family Friday, March 20, 2015 from 4:30 till 8:00 PM at the DeClue Funeral Home. Interment held at the Nicholson/McCaul Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
