James "Jimmy" Skiles

James Melvin Skiles also known by family and friends as "Jimmy" was born on December 21, 1955 in Potosi, Missouri, a son of the late Sterling Skiles and the late Mary Marie (Lawson) Skiles. Jimmy passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson, having reached the age of 65 years, 4 months, and 24 days.

In addition to his father and mother, Jimmy is preceded in death by two brothers: Dennis Skiles and Arthur Skiles; sister, Carolyn (Skiles) Politte; niece Stacey Sandeberg; and best friend, Danny "Nuckles" Nesbit.

Jimmy is survived by his lifetime companion, Mary Montgomery; three children: Chris Cash, Denise Dornbach (husband, Adam), John Kilcullen; two sisters: Barbara Null (husband, Mel), Shelba Benson (husband, Lonnie); four grandchildren: Destony Kilcullen, Cierra Cash, Phillip Lucas, Quin Kilcullen; two great-grandchildren: Brentley and Jensen; In-Laws: Carolyn Skiles, Norman and Jamie Nelson; and son-in-law, Tommy Cash.

Visitation will be held Monday, May 17, 2021 from 10:30 am until the time of service at 1 pm, held at DeClue Funeral Home.
