James "Bo" Hammock

January 25, 1984 — July 24, 2016

James "Bo" Russell Hammock, Jr. of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on July 24, 2016 at his residence having reached the age of thirty two years. He was born on January 25, 1984, in Fredericktown, Missouri, a son to James Russell Hammock, Sr. and Lynn Yvonne (Hughes) Hammock. On March 12, 2016, Bo was united in marriage to Robin Lynn (Potter) Hammock.

Bo is survived by his beloved wife, Robin Hammock of Potosi; two daughters: Lillian and Olivia Hammock of Potosi; step-son, Jeffrey Potter of Potosi; parents, James, Sr. and Lynn Hammock of Potosi, sister, Crystal Winick and husband Dale of Potosi; grandmothers: Erna Mae Hammock of Barnhart, and Hazel Hughes of Festus; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carl and Vickie Ward of Potosi; also surviving are many special aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Bo is preceded in death by his grandfathers, David Hammock, Sr. and William Hughes; and uncle, Harry E. Hammock.

Bo had a love for his family and life. He loved to wrestle with Lilly and Olivia. He loved to hunt and fish. Bo loved to float and spend time with his friends. He had such a love for the outdoors, but Bo’s greatest love was for his wife, Robin. The love they shared was blessed greatly on March 12, 2016. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him.

Visitation for Bo was held on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Thursday, July 28, 2016, beginning at 9:00 AM. A funeral service began at 11:00 AM on Thursday, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel, with Bro. Randall Jarvis officiating.

Honoring Bo by serving as his pallbearers were Dan Hammock, Devin Hammock, Matt Hammock, Jeffrey Potter, Danny Hammock, Jr., and Chris Govro.

Interment and final prayers were held at the New Diggins Cemetery. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home.
