James Bell

James H. Bell of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on May 13, 2013 at his residence at the age of eighty four years, eleven months and twenty four days. He was born on May 19, 1928 in St. Louis, Missouri a son to the late Claude Bell and Margaret (Whiteker) Bell.

In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his wife Ruth Anna Bell, son Richard Bell and a sister Alta Leona Leonard.

James served in the United States Marine Corps from 1946 ~ 1948.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are two sons Jeffery Bell and wife Kathleen of Columbia, Illinois, Russell E. Bell of Waterloo, Illinois; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 2 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating.

All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
