Jackie Ann Forrester, born in Barnhart, Missouri on December 30, 1955, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2025. She was a devoted caretaker throughout her life, working as a Certified Medical Technician (CMT). Jackie took great pride in her work, displaying a deep commitment to those she cared for.
Jackie had a passion for nurturing, both in her career and in her personal life. She enjoyed spending time with her dogs, affectionately referred to as "my boys," Smokey and Cocoa. Jackie was a talented seamstress, always creating beautiful quilts and memories through scrapbooking. Her love for gardening brought her joy, and she was widely known for her skills in baking and canning.
Jackie leaves behind her loving sons: Samuel Reed and Scott Jackson; her cherished grandson, Austin Reed, and his partner, Brandi Hunt; as well as her loving companion, Tom Garrett. Tom and Jackie shared several wonderful years with each other and was side-by-side until her last breath. She was also a proud grandmother to several great-grandchildren, who brought her immense joy.
Jackie will be dearly missed by all who knew her warmth and kindness. She joins her beloved parents, Samuel and Mattie McMullin, along with her son, Chad Reed, daughter, Sandra Reed, and siblings, James Thompson and Samuel Thompson. Her legacy of love and care lives on through her family and the many lives she touched.
At this time no formal services will be held. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of DeClue Funeral Home.
