Jack Moses

Jackie D. Moses of Potosi, Missouri passed away on May 25, 2016 at his residence having reached the age of sixty two years, eleven months, and six days. He was born on June 19, 1953, in Quaker, Missouri, a son to the late Jewell Moses and the late Jenevie (Wilson) Moses.

Jack is survived by his two sons: Lynn Moses and wife Kristi of Courtois, Missouri, and Bradley Moses and wife Lola of Steelville; daughter Kim Snyder and husband Bob of Bixby; companion Linda Moses of Courtois; siblings: Vern Moses and wife Mary of St. Louis, Rick Moses and wife Leslie of Courtois, Marvin Oker and wife Teresa of Desloge, Lee Oker and wife Florita of Potosi, Michael Moses and wife Janice of Courtois, Darlene Weihl and husband Richard of Illinois, Arline Kupke and husband John of Maryland, Barbara Zlataric and husband John of Illinois, Mary Tesson and husband Richard of Oklahoma, Marilyn Rawson of Gumbo, and Vickey Byington and husband Eric of Troy; eight grandchildren: Dawson, Emily, Eli, Jacob, Audrey, Alyssa, Tyler, Kayla and Damon; and also surviving are several other extended family members and friends.

In addition to his parents, Jack is preceded in death by his step-mother: Clara Moses; and brothers: Bill Moses, Delain Moses, Lovell Moses, Robert Moses, and Daniel Moses.

Visitation for Jack was held on Saturday, May 28, 2016, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the DeClue Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Saturday, beginning at 1:00 PM, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Eddie Mitkos officiating. Honoring Jack by serving as pallbearers were Ronnie Blair, Preston Byington, Spencer Moses, Michael Moses, Michael Blair and Duane Fitzwater.

Interment and final prayers will be held at the Antioch Cemetery. All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home.
