Iva May ?Bobbie? Meyer of Mineral Point, Missouri, departed this life on September 21, 2005 at her residence at the age of 93 Years, 5 months and 7 days. She was born on April 14, 1912 at Flat River, Missouri a daughter of the late Elliott Lewis and Minnie Adams Lewis.
Bobbie as she was known to Family and friends was a member of the Covenant Grace Church of God.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands Clarence Brand and Sylvester Beaumont, three daughters Patsy Paulus, Alice Faye Brand and Jo Ann Miller; three brothers Walter, Everett and Ardel Lewis; one sister Edith Balzer and one great great grandson Simon Laird.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are her grandchildren Cynthia and Lary Walburn of Mineral Point, William and Sheila Voorhees of St. Louis, Pat and Victor Burkart of Gravois Mills, Terry and Debbie Miller of Gravois Mills, Tracy and Jerry Richard of Florida, David and Mary Miller of Gravios Mills; sisters Mable Demos of Farmington, Lucille Yeager of Bismarck, 19 great grandchildren, 36 great great grandchildren and 5 great great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 PM Friday, September 23, 2005 at the Britton Chapel, with Rev. Robert Thurman officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Shane Walburn, Johnny Laird, Willie Harris, Joe Mayfield, Tom Brewington and Bill Voorhees.
Interment in the Herod Cemetery, Desloge, with all arrangements entrusted to the care of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
