Irma Jean Foxx of Sallisaw, Oklahoma entered into rest on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 having reached the age of seventy four years, ten months and twenty one days. She was born on March 7, 1940 at Quaker, Missouri a daughter to the late Lloyd McClain and Eva Blair McClain.
On September 2, 1956 Irma was united in marriage to Charles William "Bill" Foxx and they shared forty four years together.
Irma is survived by her son Ricky Foxx and wife Linda of Sallisaw, OK.; daughter Kathy Schaefer and husband Gary of Maple Community, OK.; four grandchildren Erika Martens and husband Tucker; Jessica Ritchie; Zach Schaefer and Bobby Reese; three great grandchildren Kannon Martens; Katelyn Sanders and Thomas Hubbs III; brother Jerry McClain and wife Susan of Caledonia, MO.; and many other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, Irma was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles William "Bill" Foxx; two brothers Jackie Lee McClain and Frank Roy McClain.
Funeral services were held on Monday, February 2, 2015 at 11:00 AM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton Officiating. Interment and final prayers were held at the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery.
Honoring Irma by serving as her pallbearers were Shannon McClain, Mark McClain, Brent McClain, Michael McClain, Tucker Martens, and Brad Yount.
