Irene Johnston

Irene Johnston of Leadwood, Missouri passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at her residence having reached the age of seventy five years and one month. She was born on April 24, 1939 a daughter to the late Gilbert Cochran and Anna (Emond) Cochran.
Irene is survived by; two daughters Ann Marie Belmore of Potosi, Missouri and Susan Goodrich and husband Carl of Rhode Island; one sister Donna Marfil and Rustum of Pensacola, Florida; two sons Kenneth Benetti of Doe Run, Missouri and Russell Johnston Jr. of Farmington, Missouri; eleven grandchildren Cayla Johnston, Denise Johnston, Russell Johnston III, Michael Johnston, Lucas Goodrich, Jessica Goodrich, Marcus Goodrich, Jason Benetti, Amba Boyer, Justin Belmore and Debbie Grass; eight great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, Irene was preceded in death by her companion Jimmie Percifull, daughter Denise Simmons, grandson Roger Belmore, sister Alice Paolino, brothers Gilbert Cochran and Guy Cochran.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 11:00 AM held at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Pastor Connie Carrigan officiating. Honoring the life of Irene and serving as pallbearers were Dewayne Boyer, Justin Belmore, Jason Benetti, Michael Cochran, Mike Bishop and Bonnie Boyer.
Interment and final Prayers were held at the Arcadia Valley Cemetery, Arcadia, Missouri.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
