Idabelle Lore of Potosi, Missouri passed away on Friday, September 26, 2014 having reached the age of ninety-three years, six months, and fourteen day. She was born on March 12, 1921 in Potosi, Missouri a daughter to the late George Washington Litton and Rebecca (Forister) Litton.
On July 13, 1940, Idabelle was united in marriage to the late Bernis H. Lore in Hillsboro, Missouri. Together they shared seventy-three years of marriage.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are two sons: Wayne Lore and wife Dorothy of Potosi, Missouri and Joe Lore and wife Pamela of Potosi, Missouri; one daughter Judy Contreras and husband James of Prescott, Arizona; one brother Joe Gibson of Jefferson City, Missouri; ten grandchildren: Matthew Lore, Timothy Lore, Andrew Lore, Jeffery Lore, Luke Lore, Hilary Lore, Ashley Lore, Tonya Copeland, Tracey Contrares, and Candy Dailey; many great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, relatives, and friends who will sadly miss her.
Along with her parents and husband, Idabelle is preceded in death by her sister Marie Reed; her brother Omar Litton; step- brother Lionell Gibson; and two step-sisters Vernell Skaggs and Frances Osborne; and great-grandson Matthew Lore.
Honoring Idabelle by serving as her pallbearers were Matt Lore, Tim Lore, Jeff Lore, Jeffrey Lore, Kelley Silvey, and Wayne Thornton. Serving as an honorary pallbearer was Jared Politte.
Internment and final prayers were held at the Redbud Memorial Gardens Cemetery. All arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
