Hurshel Nipper

Hurshel Lynn Nipper of Belgrade, Missouri departed this life on May 2, 2010 at the Missouri Baptist Medical Center having reached the age of fifty six years, four months and ten days. He was born on December 22, 1953 at Belgrade, Missouri a son to Edith (Tedder) Nipper and the late George Nipper.

When Hurshel was a kid at home, he would never fight with his brother or sisters. Sometimes, he should have. He was a very kind hearted person. He would give you his shirt off his back. There were times he would take the blame for something one of his siblings had done, just to keep them from getting in trouble.

He loved to camp, fish and be out in his garden. He could make anything grow.

Hurshel let his family know that he wasn?t upset because of his sickness. Instead he was blessed because he had reunited with his family. He rededicated his life during his sickness.

Hurshel gave his family and friends many memories that they will never forget.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his mother Edith Nipper of Belgrade; brother Eddie Nipper and wife Judy of Belgrade; three sisters Connie Waller and husband Garrie of Caledonia, Marca Bowles and husband Kevin of Belgrade, Cheryl Keenan and husband Bob of Belgrade; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 2 PM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Brenda West officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Rick Ward, Doug Wood, Rod Dennis, Dennis Yount, Chris Laramore, Joe Nipper and Mel Reese.

Interment and final prayers were held at Jenkins Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
