Herman Mackley
June 6, 1940 — April 5, 2011
Herman Leroy Mackley of Ellington, Missouri departed this life on April 5, 2011 at his residence having reached the age of seventy years, nine months and thirty days. He was born on June 6, 1940 at Washington County, Missouri a son to the late Ira Mackley and Melvina (Courtway) Mackley.
Herman attended the Potosi Full Gospel Church.
In addition to his parents, Herman was preceded in death by his wife Alice Mackley and a sister Sue Jackson.
Survivors are daughter Angela Mackley of Potosi; sister Eva Huskey of Ellington; two grandchildren Hunter Kindel and Ezra Kindel; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Bro. Dave Skaggs officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Eric Stroup, David Revelle, Joe Coleman, Jr., Edward Paul Courtois, Bobby McMahan, Sr. and Daniel Pyatt.
Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
