Herbert Link

Herbert Howard Link of Mineral Point, Missouri departed this life on April 26, 2007 at Washington County Memorial Hospital, Potosi, Missouri, having reached the age of 74 years and 23 days. He was born on April 3, 1933 at Potosi, Missouri, a son of the late Percy Link and Louise (Bobbitt) Link.

On September 10, 1988, he was united in marriage to Linda Bergner. They share over eighteen years of marriage together. Herbert was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved spending time with his family, also love to fish and hunt with his grandson Jason.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, James Link and a brother, John Link.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his wife, Linda Link of Mineral Point; daughters, Tracy Bourbon and fiance? Josh Baker of Farmington, Ruth Tucker of Farmington, Mary Cook of Mineral Point, Becky Meyers of Phillipsburg, MO; sons, Joe Link of St. Louis, Jerry Link of Cuba; brothers, Percy Link and wife Hazel of Tucker, GA, Charlie Link of GA; sister, Dorothy Seiler of Jackson; special grandchildren, Jason Wilkerson and Meagan Baker; sister-in law Carol & Jim Helmiung; two brother-in laws, Darrell & Donna Bergner & Roger Bergner; special friends, Ben & Dianne Huddlesten , Jesse & P.J. Mathes: thirteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; aunts & uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Sunday, April 29, 2007 at 2 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Bill Bond officiating. Serving as pallbearers were; Darrell Bergner, Jason Jackson, Isiah Hensley, Ryan Jordan, Les Woods, & Wade Jordan

Interment and final prayers were held at Redbud Memorial Gardens. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
