Henry Gerard Warren of Bonne Terre, Missouri departed this life on November 4, 2010 at the St. Joe Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of eighty seven years, one month and twenty nine days. He was born on September 6, 1923 at Chloride, Missouri a son to the late Simm Warren and Helen (Swaringim) Warren.
Henry served in the United States Army from 1943-1946. Some of his battles, medals and ribbons were Rhineland, Central Europe, Victory Ribbon, Theatre Ribbon with 2 Bronze Stars, American Theatre Ribbon, European African Middle Eastern, Good Conduct Medal and 3 Overseas Bars.
Henry was a member of the Liberty United Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Henry was preceded in death by his wife Naida Fay Warren, granddaughter Little Bev Bayless, two brothers Willard Warren, Norman Warren; three sisters Lorene Farris, Dora Warren and Nanny Warren.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are three daughters Sharon Gann and husband Paul of Poplar Bluff, Bonnie Smith and husband Frank of Belgrade, Beverly Bayless and husband Jimmie of Farmington; four sons Delmar Warren and wife Vickie of Bonne Terre, Clinton Warren and wife Eva of Doe Run, Howard Warren of Bonne Terre, Jeffery Warren and wife Tonya of Pollard, Arkansas; two sisters Marie Colyott of Ironton, Lucille Smith of Rolla; twenty grandchildren; many great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at 11 AM at the Leadbelt Pentecostal Church with Rev. Scott Meeks officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Frank Smith, Frankie Smith, Jr., Jimmie Bayless, Delmar Warren, Steven Warren and Jeff Warren.
Interment and final prayers were held at St. Francois County Memorial Park. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
