Helen Hedrick

Helen Marie Hedrick, of Cadet, Missouri departed this life on September 5, 2008 having reached 70 years 5 months and 20 days. Helen was born on March 16, 1938 to the late Abraham DeClue and Mary Blair DeClue.

On October 12 , 1957 , Helen was united in marriage to Perry Hedrick and nine children were born to this union, and on August 3, 1997 Mr. Hedrick went on to be with the Lord.

Helen is preceded in death by her mother and father ; her husband Perry Hedrick; daughter Debbie Lawson; sister Louise DeClue , her grandson Steven Kean 3rd.


Those who remain to mourn her passing are Donna Potter husband Glen of Cadet, Mary Bourbon husband Paul of Cadet, Shirley Rolens husband Tony of Bonne Terre, Wanda Powell fianc? John Cooper of Potosi, Phyllis Williams husband Clinton of Potosi, Perry Hedrick wife Judy of Bonne Terre, Willard Hedrick wife Terry of Bonne Terre, Nancy ?Cricket? Davis of St. Louis, 22 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great- great grandchildren, nieces, nephew , relatives and many many friends who will truly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 PM Monday, September 8, 2008 at Britton Chapel, Potosi, with Rev. Donald Strauser officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Willard Hedrick, Perry Hedrick, Clinton Williams, Derrick Lawson, Terry, Wilfongand Kenneth Hedrick.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Upper Indian Creek Cemetery, Viburnum, Missouri. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
