Helen Goforth

Helen Delores Goforth of Frankclay, Missouri departed this life on January 26, 2013 at the National Health Care in Desloge, Missouri having reached the age of seventy six years, one month and thirty days. She was born on November 27, 1936 in Bonne Terre, Missouri a daughter to the late Homer Watson and Lula (Gilliam) Watson.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband Harold Goforth, son Kevin Goforth, three brothers Donald Watson, Junior Watson and Roger Watson.

Helen attended the Gumbo Assembly Church of God.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are a daughter Tonya Alsept of Park Hills; son Donald Goforth of Desloge; special friend Cheryl Darnell of Potosi; nine grandchildren Carl, Allen, April, Roger, Tyler, Carrie, Neil, Emily, Dylan; fifteen great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 at 2 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Bud Lawson officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Neil Goforth, Eddie Goforth, Brad Robert, Bo Phillips, Justin Goforth, Daily (Big) Goforth.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Adams Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
