Helen Delameter

Helen Eva Irene Delameter of Blackwell, Missouri departed this life on January 29, 2013 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of seventy two years, five months and nine days. She was born on August 20, 1940 in St. Louis, Missouri a daughter to the late Alonzo Padgett and Helen Belcher.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by a daughter Nancy Ann Rector; brother Harrison Virgil Padgett; brother in law Carl D. Mitchell; step father Harris Altman and her grandparents.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her long time companion Johnny Edward Cook of Richwoods; two sons James Rector and wife Sue of Richwoods; Keith Dale Rector of Richwoods; sister Elaine Mitchell of Wappapello, Missouri; half sister Joann Massie and husband Terry of Florissant, Missouri; half brother Michael Padgett of Florissant, Missouri; sister in law Brenda Padgett of Bellville, Illinois; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

A Memorial service was held on Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 3 PM at the Book of Acts Church in Richwoods with Bro. Joe Gourley officiating.

All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
