Helen Courtaway

Helen Marie Courtaway of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on April 17, 2012 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of sixty five years, seven months and four days. She was born on September 13, 1946 at Washington, Missouri a daughter to Catherine (Smith) Boyer and the late Timothy Boyer.

On April 20, 2002, Helen was united in marriage to Joseph Courtaway and they shared almost ten years together.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her husband Joseph Courtaway of Potosi; mother Catherine Boyer of House Springs; two brothers James T. (Elaine) Boyer of House Springs; Gary L. Boyer of Bonne Terre; two sisters Kathy Cross of Richwoods; Tammy (James) Woods of Richwoods; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Memorial Service was held Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 2:30 PM at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home Chapel with Rev. Joe Church officiating. Honorary pallbearers were James T. Boyer (nephew); Greg McClord (Hospice Chaplin); Lynn Elliott (nephew by marriage); Jonathan Courtaway (great nephew); Joseph A. Courtaway (great nephew) and Christopher Courtaway (great nephew).

All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
