Hazel Rulo

Hazel Louise Rulo of Cadet, Missouri departed this life on June 17, 2012 at her residence at the age of ninety three years, nine months and eight days She was born on September 9, 1918 in Blackwell, Missouri a daughter to the late Marium Skaggs and Rose (Cain) Skaggs.

In addition to her parents, Hazel was preceded in death by her husband Harry Rulo; son Lawrence Rulo; two daughters Norma Gillam, Sandra Rulo; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; three sisters and five brothers.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are her five daughters Florence (Warren) Scott of Mineral Point, Barbara Sweet of Cadet, Diane Ray of High Ridge, Donna (Lester) Boyer of Rolla, Bonnie (Allen) Vance of Cadet; four sons Chester (May) Rulo of Mineral Point, Donnie (Sally) Rulo of St. Louis, Harry (Brenda) Rulo of Pevely, Larry (Betty) Rulo of Pevely; sister Evelyn Brooks of St. Genevieve; thirty one grandchildren; fifty three great grandchildren; fourteen great great grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews, family and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Lynn Thebeau officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Elroy Sweet, Terry Rulo, Nathan Litton, Randy Rulo, Timmy Gillam, Chester Rulo. Honorary pallbearers were Jamie Rulo and Little Donnie Rulo.

Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
