Hazel Boulch departed this life on Friday, April 14, 2006 at Jefferson County Memorial Hospital, Festus, Missouri, having reached the age of 91 years, 8 months and 14 days. She was born on July 25, 1914 in Davisville, Missouri to Scott and Della (Earls) Britton.
Hazel was united in marriage to Roy Boulch on January 12, 1934 in Davisville. Roy preceded her in death on June 13, 1988. They shared over 54 years of marriage together. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
In addition to her parents and husband, Hazel was preceded in death by an infant son, an infant daughter, a grandson, Brian Boulch, a brother, Cleo Britton, a half-brother, Junior Britton and two sisters, Ruth Crow and Delphia Boulch.
Among those who remain to mourn her passing from this life are her three sons, Ronald Boulch and wife Alta of Hillsboro, Randall Boulch and wife Margaret of Jefferson City, Gary Boulch and wife Treva of Lebanon; her brother Earl Britton and wife Jackie of Caledonia; five half-brothers, Leonard Britton and wife Elenora of Potosi, Robert Britton and wife Janie of Potosi, Joe Britton and wife Joyce of Russelville, Kentucky, Jim Britton and wife Sue of Steelville, Mike Britton and wife Barb of Vienna; five half-sisters, Dorothy Stevens and husband Andy of Caledonia, Betty Garrison of Steelville, Leona Hedrick of Bixby, Emily Clinton of Houston, Mima Brickey and husband Walter of Davisville; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; a host of nieces; nephews; cousins and many other family members and dear friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral Services were conducted at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Doug Warren, Tom Boulch, Tim Jones, Steve Boulch, Larry Sheffer and Tom Karl.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
