Hattie Bergner

Hattie Jane Bergner of Old Mines, Missouri departed this life on March 27, 2013 at her residence having reached the age of seventy seven years and twenty seven days. She was born on February 29, 1936 in Potosi, Missouri a daughter to the late Grover Litton and Cora (Brim) Litton.

In addition to her parents, Hattie was preceded in death by her husband Franklin D. Bergner, son Jimmy Bergner, granddaughter Patricia Bergner, daughter in law Jeane Bergner, three sisters Pearl Litton, Mary Ellen Litton Bergner, Donna Litton, three brothers William "Willie" Litton, Lloyd Litton and Martin Litton.

Hattie was a member of the Lost Creek Baptist Church. She knew Jesus Christ as her personal savior.

Those who remain to mourn her passing are a daughter Amy Bergner and significant other Chris Mabe of Potosi; two sons Gordon Litton and wife Janice of Old Mines, Dennis Bergner and wife Donna of Old Mines; sister in law Gladys Livingston of St. Louis; eleven grandchildren Brook Dickinson and husband Lloyd, Gordon Litton II and wife Erica, Sara Litton and boyfriend Jordan Nelp, Krista Heddy and husband Jason, Jimmy Bergner, Jr. and girlfriend Alisa, Amanda Halbert and husband Luke, Kimberlee Crocker and husband Justin, Jessica Bergner and boyfriend Kyle Perris, Dustin Thompson, Eli Thompson, Gunner Mabe; fourteen great grandchildren Nathan, Dane, Lynae, Marla, Ryan, Allicia, Makenna, Tyler, Haley, Bree-Anna, Draton, Autumn, Trenton, Olivia; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.

Funeral serviced were conducted on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 11 AM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Bryce Wilson officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Gordon Litton II, Jimmy Bergner, Jr., Tyler Bergner, Dustin Thompson, Lloyd Dickinson and Nathan Dickinson.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Redbud Memorial Gardens. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
