Harvey Declue

Harvey Benny DeClue of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on March 11, 2009 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of fifty years, one month and eleven days. He was born on January 29, 1954, a son to the late Lige DeClue and Slyvia Cain DeClue.

In addition to his parents, Harvey was preceded in death by a sister Vernon Emily; nephew John Lee DeClue and a niece Robin Lee DeClue.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life are his loving girl friend Tory Gilbert of Potosi; Harvey and Tory?s two kids Katlyn DeClue and Slyvia DeClue both of Potosi; wife from previous marriage Theresa Roux and mother of his other five children Harvey DeClue, Jr. of Bonne Terre; Raymond DeClue of Steelville; Kristy DeClue of Michigan; Nova DeClue of Louisiana; Patrick DeClue of Cedar Hill; two sisters Dolly Hawkins and husband Sam of Potosi; Wanda Miner of Bonne Terre; two brothers Johnny DeClue and wife Nancy of Mineral Point; Raymond DeClue and wife Margie of Lake of the Ozarks.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at 2 PM at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Tom Slovensky officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Shelby Gilbert, Dennis Hawkins, Kenneth Kitchell, Robert Golden, Earnie Miner, Melvin Courtney, II and Johnny White.

Interment and final prayers were held at Bonne Terre Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
