Harry Moses

Harry Eugene Moses of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on October 17, 2012 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of eighty five years, five months and eighteen days. He was born on April 29, 1927 in Courtois, Missouri a son to the late Adolph Moses and Irene (Midgett) Moses.

In addition to his parents, Eugene was preceded in death by two brothers Gilbert Moses, Dale Moses; two brothers in law Jim Laramore, Paul Mize; four nephews Eddie Moses, David Laramore, Ronnie Moses and Douglas Barnett.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his daughter Ronda Davis and husband Curt of Leadington; step daughter Janet Turner and husband Homer of Potosi; five sisters Juanita Laramore of Potosi; Rosalie Laird and husband John of St. Louis; Evelyn Mize of St. Louis; Judy Barnett and husband Jim of St. Louis; Bernadine Sutton and husband Bob of Atlanta, Georgia; three brothers Bruce Moses and wife Betty of Phoenix, Arizona; Linnie Moses of Potosi; Randy Moses and wife Asylla of Potosi; two sisters in law Dolly Moses of Carthage, Missouri; Clarabelle Moses of Lebanon, Missouri; two grandsons Ryan McClain and wife Jennifer of Tampa, Florida; Lucas McClain of Jefferson City, Missouri; one step grandchild Shawn Blair and wife Amy; one great grandson Micah McClain; three step great grandchildren Autumn Blair, David Blair, Josh Blair and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 1 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Bruce Nipper officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Lucas McClain, Corey Moses, Shawn Blair, Matt Hutchings, Thomas Bishop and Chad Nipper.

Interment and final prayers were held at Antioch Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
