Harry Alfred Bourbon Jr., of Potosi, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2016 at his residence surrounded by his loving family at the age of fifty five. He was born on March 6, 1961, in Cadet, Missouri, a son to the late Harry Bourbon Sr. and the late Bernice (Coleman) Bourbon.
On May 2, 1996 Harry was united in marriage to Dawn Portell in Richwoods and there was on son born this union.
Harry is survived by his loving and devoted wife of twenty years, Dawn Bourbon of Potosi; son Michael Bourbon of Potosi; two brothers: James Bourbon and Terry Bourbon both of Potosi; mother-in-law, Joyce Portell of Potosi; brother-in-law, Walker Portell and wife Priscilla of Festus; niece, Robin Bourbon; three nephews: Scott Bourbon, Matthew Portell and Cody Portell; also surviving are other dear family members and friends.
In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by his sister Marlene Bourbon and father-in-law Ronald Portell.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 17, from 5:00-8:00 PM and Monday, July 18, from 8:30-9:30 AM at the DeClue Funeral Home, 301 East High Street, Potosi, Missouri 63664.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, July 18, at 10:00 AM at the St. Joachim Catholic Church, Old Mines, with Father Tony Datillo and Monsignor James Hanson Officiating.
Interment and final prayers will be held at the Portell Cemetery.
