Harold Johnston

Harold Junior Johnston of Belgrade, Missouri departed this life on December 19, 2010 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital having reached the age of eighty years and nine days. He was born on December 10, 1930 at Palmer, Missouri a son to the late Hurst Johnston and Lonnie (Nipper) Johnston.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by a sister Ruby Becker, three sisters in law Lavern Johnston, Thelma Button, Naomi Jinkerson; two brothers in law Raymond Gillam, Clinton Jinkerson; mother and father in law Anna Lee Gillam and Raymond Gillam.
On August 18, 1962, Harold was united in marriage to Bonnie Gillam and they shared forty eight years together.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are wife Bonnie Johnston of Belgrade; sister in law Judy Polacek of Belgrade; special friends Anthony Brakefield and Bobbie Forrester of Belgrade; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 2 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Carl Gillam officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Harvey Gillam, Kenneth Gillam, Bill Johnston, Eddie Johnston, Anthony Brakefield and Timmy Gillam.
Interment and final prayers were held at Scott Cemetery, Belgrade, Missouri. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
