Harold Lawrence Charboneau of Sullivan, Missouri departed this life on January 4, 2013 at his residence having reached the age of forty four years, six months and twenty three days. He was born on June 12, 1968 in Washington County, Missouri a son to Lawrence Charboneau and Linda (King) Charboneau.
Harold was preceded in death by a granddaughter Chloe Charboneau; grandparents Theodore and Nellie King; Patrick and Rosa Charboneau; uncle Stanley King; Aunt Janice King and a cousin Malissa Mier.
On October 23, 1986, Harold was united in marriage to Leona Rodgers and they shared twenty six years together.
Harold had just recently joined the Richwoods Fire Department.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Leona Charboneau of Sullivan; parents Lawrence and Linda Charboneau of Richwoods; two sons Tony Charboneau and fiancé Ashley Golden of Potosi; Thomas Charboneau and fiancé Tara Hayes of Richwoods; sister Laura (Rick) DeClue of Cadet; niece Karen DeClue; nephew Ricky DeClue; uncle and aunt Carl and Charlotte King; aunt Margaret Charboneau; aunt Mildred and James Martin; cousins Tony and Dianel Harmon; Deandra and Melvin Rhives; three grandchildren Jason Charboneau, Austin Reeves, Tommy Charboneau, Jr.; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 1 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. James Merritt officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Tony Charboneau, Thomas Charboneau, Ricky DeClue, David Hoffman, Craig Thurman and Tony Harmon. Honorary pallbearers were Carl King and Rick DeClue.
Interment and final prayers were held at St. Stephens Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
