Larry Gene Harmon, Sr. of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on October 25, 2005 at the Washington County Memorial Hospital, having reached the age of 57 years, 6 months and 16 days. He was born on April 9, 1948 at Sappington, Missouri, a son of the late Narvel Leonard Harmon and Hazel Delma (Brewer) Harmon.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grand daughters, Breanna Wilson and Elizabeth Eads.
Those who remain to mourn his passing from this life include, Brickey Harmon of Potosi, his sons, Donnie Harmon, Caledonia, Larry Harmon, Jr. and wife Patti of Potosi, Timmy Harmon and fianc? Tabitha Dawson of Potosi; his daughter Beth Harmon of Potosi; two step-daughters, Bridgett Wilson and husband Bryce of Potosi, and Beverly Kay and special friend Bud Rea of Potosi; sister Connie Bodimer and husband LeRoy of Potosi; his two brothers, Ronnie Harmon and wife Kay of Potosi and Terry Harmon and special friend Barbara Wideman of Potosi.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 PM on Thursday, October 27, 2005 at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Bobby Thurman, Rev. Bryce Wilson and Rev. Lary Walburn officiating. Those honoring Larry as pallbearers were Russell Creswell, Bill Myers, Keith Wideman, Kurt Wideman, Mike Rolens, Darrell Nickelson and Mike Blair.
Interment and final prayers were held at Grassy Hollow Cemetery, Potosi. All arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
