Harlond Anderson

Harlond Willard Anderson of Belgrade, Missouri departed this life on July 31, 2013 at his residence having reached the age of eighty one years old. He was born on March 31, 1932 in Mineral Point, Missouri a son to the late A.P. Anderson and Lola (Marler) Anderson.

In addition to his parents, Harlond was preceded in death by one sister Anna Jewel Duncan and four brothers Charles Anderson, Ivan Anderson, Rev. A.M. Anderson and Rev. Gerald Anderson.

On October 6, 1951, Harlond was united in marriage to Bonnie Walker and they shared sixty one years together.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his loving and devoted wife of sixty one years Bonnie Anderson of Belgrade; two sons Harlond Anderson and wife Twila of Belgrade, Stephen Anderson and wife Linda of Belgrade; three daughters Robin Lemont and husband Bruce of Memphis, Tennessee, Bonnie Ursery and husband Gary of Iuka, Mississippi, Anita Anderson of Belgrade; one sister Mary Evelyn Russell of Potosi; twelve grandchildren; thirty two great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on August 5, 2013 at 11 AM at the Hopewell Church of God with Rev. Morgan Lasseigne officiating.

Interment and final prayers were held at the Marler Sitton Cemetery with full military honors presented by the United States Navy and Local VFW Post 6996. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
