Gracie Leona Harper of Potosi, Missouri, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on February 4, 2016 at the Georgian Gardens Nursing Home surrounded by her family, having reached the age of eighty four years, eleven months, and three days. She was born on March 1, 1931 in Washburn, Missouri, a daughter to the late Roy and Eleanor (Crim) Branum.
Gracie is survived by her son Kevin Harper and wife Marsha of Bentonville, Arkansas; three daughters: Annanell Bridgeman and husband David of Potosi, Rhonda Engelke and husband Jim of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Becky Hack and husband Ben of Hobe Sound, Florida; grandchildren: Amiel Bridgeman and wife Corinne, Amy Frago and husband Jason, Elizabeth Pyatt and husband Kenny, David Bridgeman and wife Tiffany, Jonathan Bridgeman and wife Blair, Tony Marler and wife Denetta, Tonya Allen and husband Jason, Ben Marler and wife Jennifer, Gabe Marler and Fiancé Chrissy Davis, Joshua Hack, Casey Hack, Elizabeth Hack, Ashley Beckham and husband Jon, and Chelsea Harper; great grandchildren: Seth, Alex, Bethany, Felicia, Diana, Emma, Rebecca, Tristin, Anna, Haylee, Levi, Bentley, Jaxson, Marek, Austin, Brenden, Sophia, Dylan, Noah, Elizabeth, Kaleb, Drew, Logan, Ethan and Reagan; and also surviving are other extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Gracie is preceded in death by her beloved husband Ralph Harper; daughter Kathie Kay Harper and sister Christa Mae Branum.
Visitation for Gracie will be held on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 4:30 PM - 8:00 PM. A celebration of Gracie's life will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 8, 2016 in the DeClue Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Tony Marler officiating.
