Goldie Williams

Goldie Darlene Williams of Potosi, Missouri passed away on October 23, 2014 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of seventy six years, three months, and four days. Goldie was born on July 19, 1938 a daughter to the late Elmer and Cora (Boyer) Usery.
On December 10, 1955, Goldie was united in marriage to George Williams. Together they shared forty one years.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are five sons: Jeffery Williams and friend Tammy, Stanley Williams and wife Carol, Bruce Williams and wife Barbara, George Williams, Jr., and Clinton Williams and wife Phyllis all of Potosi, Missouri; four daughters: Marcia Nivens and husband Michael of Lebonan, Missouri, Beverly Williams of St. Louis, Norma Eaton and friend Dave of Potosi, Missouri, and Paula DeClue and husband Mickey of Potosi, Missouri; brother Harry Richards, Jr. and wife Sandy of Anderson, Missouri; four sisters: Margaret Schneider and husband Fred of Gerald, Missouri, Diane Gurley and husband Jim of St. Louis, Missouri, Alice Aulbert of Anderson, Missouri, and Lisa Shivers of Joplin, Missouri; twenty two grandchildren; thirty three great-grandchildren; and many more relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Along with her parents, Goldie is preceded in death by her husband George Williams; daughter Jennifer Williams; son Brian Williams; daughter-in-law Lena Williams; four brothers: Chandler Richards, Donald Richards, Billy Joe Richards, and Kenneth Richards; and two sisters Idabelle Boyer and Wanda Marie Richards.
Funeral services for Goldie were conducted on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Sunset Hills Cemetery. All arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
