Gladys Marie Minx of Mineral Point, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at her residence having reached the age of eighty years, six months, and sixteen days. She was born on March 1, 1934 in Redmondville, Missouri a daughter to the late William H. Middleton and Myrna J. (Miller) Middleton.
Gladys was united in marriage to Lindell F. Minx on April 5, 1954 in Lompoc, California.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are her brother William R. "Bill" Middleton and wife Oneda of Desloge, Missouri; three sisters-in-law: Maxine Pratte-Snell and husband Bill of Potosi, Missouri; Delta Middleton of Potosi, Missouri; and Naomi Williams; two brothers-in-law Wayne Minx and wife Sharon of Cadet, Missouri; and Tom Minx and wife Emma of Cadet, Missouri; special caregivers Edna Boyer, Tammy Lawson, Cathy Gibson and Judy Mason; and many nieces and nephews, relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
In addition to her parents, Gladys was preceded in death by her husband Lindell Minx, one sister Beulah Middleton four brothers Louis Middleton, Othal Middleton, Elmer Middleton and Lowell Middleton.
Funeral services for Gladys were conducted on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at 1:00 PM at the Unity Baptist Church with Rev. Guy Conway officiating.
Honoring Gladys by serving as pallbearers were Randy Minx, Jimmie Minx, Michael Stringer, Mark Kircher, Bryan Middleton, and David Boyer. Honorary pallbearers were Andrew Minx, Jimmie Minx, Larry Pratte, Tim Middleton, Timmy Stringer, and Mikey Stringer.
Interment and final prayers were held at the Sunset Hills Cemetery.
All arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
