Gertrude V. Nosser of Potosi, Missouri departed this life June 10, 2009 at her residence having reached the age of eighty four years, ten months and sixteen days. She was born on July 25, 1924 a daughter to the late Ben White and Alta Tullock White.
In addition to her parents, Gertrude was preceded in death by four brothers Sam White, Bill White, Amos White, Andy White; three sisters Mildred Scott, Leona Miller and Lucille Rochen; step sister Sarah Steiner.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life are her husband Harding Nosser, Sr. of Potosi; two sons Harding Nosser, Jr. of St. Louis; Donald Nosser and wife Evalyn of Antonio, MO; two grandchildren she raised Andrew Lynch, Jr. and Dawn Littrell; daughter Linda Barker and husband Don of St. Peters; two brothers Ernie White of Texas; Vic White of Annapolis, MO; ten grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Friday, June 12, 2009 at 1 PM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Harvey Buckley officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Paul Nosser, Kenny White, A.J. Lynch, Joe Lynch, David Bridgeman, Lynn Coleman and Jim Price.
Interment and final prayers were held at the New Masonic Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
