Georgia Bernice Davis of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on May 4, 2006 at Washington County Memorial Hospital, having reached the age of 80 years, 1 month and 27 days. She was born on March 7, 1926 at Leadwood, Missouri, a daughter to Elmer Sanders and Mabel Richards.
In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by her first husband Ed Bouse; two sons Melvin E. Bouse and George Bouse; a daughter, Ruth Bernice Davis; four brothers, Elmer Sanders, Melvin Sanders, Cecil Sanders and Francis Sanders; and three sisters Loretta Sanders, Mabel Richards and Alverna Williams.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of her life include her sons, Curtis Bouse and wife Barbara of Mineral Point, Johnny Rogers of Sand Springs, OK, James Lee Davis of Potosi, Robert Welker of Belgrade, Cecil Davis and wife Tammy of Belgrade, two daughters, Betty Davis of Mineral Point and Barbara Wilson and husband Randy of Potosi; one sister, Ilene Ayers of Potosi; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted Monday, May 8, 2006 at 10 AM at the Britton Chapel of Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Roger Taber officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Jeffrey Wilson, Michael Wilson, Kevin Miner, Adam Bouse, David Bouse, Cody Eye, Don Michael Eye and Scott Masn
Interment and final prayers were held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
