George Hoch

George W. Hoch of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on April 17, 2009 at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home having reached the age of ninety three years, eight months and twenty six days. He was born on July 22, 1915 at St. Louis, Missouri, a son to the late Walter Hoch and Thersa Golior.
In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his wife Alvera Specker Hoch.
George served in the United States Army for four years. He was awarded five bronze stars and the Good Conduct Medal.
Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life are Special Friends Joy Rice and his wife Jackie of Desoto and many other friends.
Funeral Services were conducted on Monday, April 20, 2009 at 10 AM at the Britton Chapel with Rev. Leonard Compton officiating.
Interment and final prayers were held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home.
