Gary King

Gary Wayne King of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on July 4, 2006 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, having reached the age of 61 years, 5 months and 3 days. He was born on February 1, 1945 at Mineral Point, Missouri a son of the late Willis King and Martha (Trokey) King.

In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Carolyn Marie King; his daughter, Tina Griggs; his sister, Ruby Gibson and a brother, Richard King.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include his sons, Gary Duane King and friend Jamie Mayfield of Farmington and David Leroy King and wife Sunne of Potosi; seven brothers, Danny King and wife Sandy of Iron Mountain; Perry King and wife Betty of Potosi, Jim King and wife Gray of North Carolina, Raymond King of Ironton, Billy King of Mineral Point, Terry King of Mineral Point, and Jeff King of Ironton; five grandchildren Erika Griggs, Colbey Boyer, Whitney King, Carolyn King and David King Jr.; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, July 8, 2006 at 2 PM at the Britton Chapel, Potosi, Missouri with Rev. Wesley Kean officiating.

Interment and final prayers were held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
