Freeda Harvey

Freeda Louise Harvey of Potosi, Missouri departed this life on April 6, 2014 at the Mercy Jefferson Hospital having reached the age of seventy one years, eight months and fifteen days. She was born on June 22, 1942 in Eldridge, Missouri a daughter to the late Guy Brumfield and Mary (Allison) Brumfield.
In addition to her parents, Freeda was preceded in death by Dorothy & Foster Allison, three sons Ricky, Mark Kline and Gene Aleshire.
On July 9, 1982, Freeda was united in marriage to Marvin Harvey and they shared thirty one years together.
Freeda was a member of the Kingdom Hall in Potosi.
Those who remain to mourn her passing are her husband Marvin Harvey of Potosi; daughter Donna Ziegler and husband Fred of
Cuba; son Jim Harvey and wife Debbie of Potosi; brother Wayne Brumfield and wife Betty of Bridgeport, Connecticut; daughter in law Della Weir and husband George of Stoney Point; cousins Elaine Ames and husband Jim of Lebanon, Missouri, Jackie Lee of Lebanon, Missouri, Linda Harmon of Steelville, Dave & Annie Fenstermaker of Potosi, special friends Jeannie DeGonia and husband Dave of Potosi, Sonny & Vivian Halbert of Caledonia; grandchildren Aaron Harvey and April Hill, Nikie Light and husband Brad, Shannon Bonney and husband Jim, Freddie Ziegler and wife Sherri, Kevin Ziegler and wife Lisa, Donald Kline and wife Kara, John Michael Kline and Kim Miller; eleven great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her.
Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday, April 9, 1 PM DeClue Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton officiating. Serving as pallbearers were Aaron Harvey, Freddie Ziegler, Donald Kline, Kevin Ziegler, Michael Kline, Sonny Halbert, Brad Light and Jimmy Bonney.
Interment and final prayers were held at the RedBud Memorial Gardens. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
