Freda Wright

January 28, 1933 — November 26, 2017

Freda Irene Wright of Potosi, Missouri was born on January 28, 1933 in Shirley, Missouri, a daughter to the late Floyd Eye and the late Opal (Harmon) Eye. Freda entered eternal rest on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at the Potosi Manor Nursing at the age of eighty-four.

Freda will be missed by all who knew and loved her including her son, Ralph (Elaine) Pickett of Mineral Point; four brothers: Stanley (Donna) Eye, Boyd (Dorris) Eye, Cleo (Shirley) Eye, and Ronnie (Millie) Eye; two sisters: Delores Lewis, and Elaine (Marvin) Mercer; nine grandchildren: Julie (Harold) Fortner, Joseph James, Nick James, Tracey DeClue, Kayla (Robbie) LaChance, Brandi DeClue, Keith Pickett, Terry Pickett and Amanda (Jake) Hutchings; fifteen great-grandchildren; and special friend, Bob Hamby.

In addition to her parents, Freda was preceded in death by her first husband, Fred Pickett; second husband, Charles Wright; daughter, Carolyn DeClue; siblings: Norma Ruth Eye, Betty Lee Eye, Geraldine Crocker, Raymond Eye, and Austin Eye; and special cousin, Bill Doss.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the DeClue Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, beginning at 9:00 AM.

A funeral service will commence at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, held in the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Bro. Ray Dean Jarvis officiating.

Interment and final prayers will be held in the White Oak Grove Cemetery.

All funeral arrangements have been cared for by the DeClue Funeral Home.
