Fred Wallschlaeger

Fred Earl Wallschlaeger of Potosi, Missouri was born on January 6, 1951 in Wisconsin a son to the late Earl Wallschlaeger and the late Dorothy (Grennier) Wallschlaeger. On December 28, 1987, Fred was united in marriage to Carol Courtois and they shared thirty years together.

Fred departed this life on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at his residence having reached the age of sixty-seven.

Fred will be missed by all who knew and loved him including his beloved wife, Carol Wallschlaeger; three sisters: Darlene Loebel, Rita Coshenet and Nancy Wallschlaeger and husband Atiq Khan; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Albert (Mary) Courtois, Joseph Courtois, Andrew Courtois and Robert Moore; also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Fred was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law: Albert and Marcella Courtois; sister-in-law, Judy Moore; brothers-in-law: Michael Courtois and Dale Coshenet.

A private service was held on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 1 p.m. held at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Elder Leonard Compton as the officiant.

Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home, Potosi, Missouri.
