Franklin Romano of Potosi, Missouri departed this life September 14, 2010 at the Barnes Jewish Hospital having reached the age of seventy seven years, ten months and one day. He was born on November 13, 1932 at Mattoon, Illinois a son to the late John L. Romano and Zula (Branson) Romano.
Those who remain to mourn his passing are his wife Wilma Romano of Potosi, Missouri; three daughters Helen Sterling and husband Frasier of Champaign, Illinois, Maxine Sparling and husband Daniel of Fairgrage, Illinois, Nadine White of Potosi, Missouri; son Rev. Allen Smith and wife Susan of Potosi, Missouri; sister Henrietta Katz of Mattoon, Illinois; brother Russell Walls of Apopka, Florida; eleven grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.
Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at 1 PM at the DeClue Chapel with Rev. Roger Taber officiating.
Interment and final prayers were held on Monday, September 20, 2010 at Roselawn & Mound Memorial Cemetery, Charleston, Illinois. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
