Franklin Politte

March 25, 1952 — September 11, 2005

Frankie Wayne Politte of Cadet, Missouri departed this life at the Potosi Manor Nursing Home on September 11, 2005 at the age of 54 years, 5 months and 16 days. He was born on March 25, 1951 at Cadet, Missouri, a son of the late Louis Politte and Fannie (Nickelson) Politte.

Frankie married Carol Skiles on March 26, 1976 and to this union one son was born. Carol preceded him in death on February 15, 2003.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Linda Neely, Grace Allen and Carol Graham, and a brother, Larry Politte.

Frankie was a gentle, loving man who never had a drivers license, never drove a car and walked nearly every where he went. He loved to fish. Many days he could be seen walking to fish at Baker?s pond with Junior Wilkerson. He was a big fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. Frankie worked at Reed?s Sawmill for many years.

Those who remain to mourn his passing include his son Jason Politte of Cadet; three brothers, Benny Politte of Oklahoma, Tony Politte of Potosi and Rickey Politte of Ste. Genevieve; three sisters,Wanda Politte of Cadet, Cora Reagan of Fredericktown and Pam Aubuchon of Cadet; and a host of family and friends who will sadly miss him.

Memorial services for Frankie were held Saturday, September 17, 2005 at 12:00 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ.
