Frank Silvey

Orville Frank Silvey of Potosi, Missouri, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2016 at his residence having reached the age of sixty seven years, seven months and nine days. He was born on May 30, 1948, a son to the late Orville Lee Silvey and the late Anna Agnes (Janac) Silvey.

Frank is survived by his daughter Tara Silvey of Potosi; son Christopher Silvey of Florida; grandchildren Beau Holland II and Keely Holland both of Potosi; two sisters Joeanne Marler and husband Tom of Mineral Point; Rosemary Skaggs and husband Don of Mineral Point; Nephews Eric Skaggs and wife Beth of Mineral Point; Brian Skaggs of Mineral Point; Nieces Dee Coleman and husband Eric of Farmington; Dawn DeClue and husband Eric of Mineral Point; also surviving are many other relatives and dear friends.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Cecil and Joyce Lawson.

Visitation will be held Sunday, January 10, from 4:30-8:00 pm and Monday from 9-11 am at the DeClue Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, January 11, at 11 am held at the DeClue Memorial Chapel with Rev. Jim Wade officiating. Honoring Frank by serving as pallbearers are Doug Lawson, Donnie Henderson, Eric Skaggs, Eric DeClue, Buddy Eye and Tony Wilson.

Interment and final prayers will be held at the Hopewell Cemetery with full military honors presented by the United States Air Force and Local VFW Post 6996. Funeral arrangements were respectfully entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Funeral Home.
