Francis Todd

Dusty (Francis) O. Todd, Jr. passed away at his home on December 24, 2009 having reached the age of sixty two years, one month and sixteen days. He was born on November 8, 1947 at Potosi, Missouri a son of the late Lillie (Doty) Todd and Frank Todd.

In addition to his parents, Dusty was preceded in death by one sister Jo Anne Scott of Potosi; one brother Bob Doty of Irondale, Missouri; one brother in law Martin Dale Sadler of Tulsa, Oklahoma; one brother and sister in law Diana and Donald Callahan of Wortham, Missouri.

Dusty served in the Armed Forces from 1966 to 1970 in Fort Bliss, Texas and in South Korea.

Those who remain to mourn his passing are his loving wife Mary Ann (Gettinger) Todd of thirty seven years; five sisters Freda Maxwell and husband Bill of Caledonia, MO; Marilyn Sadler of Tulsa, OK; Ruth Dudley and husband Reed of Potosi, MO; Sue Battreal and husband Richard of Irondale, MO; Judy Todd of Potosi, MO; two brothers Dale Todd and wife Naomi of Frankclay, MO; Bill Todd and wife Barb of Imperial, MO. Additional survivors are his loving mother and father in law Rev. Firman Gettinger and Ruth Gettinger. Special Brothers and sisters Steve Gettinger, Rhonda Tallman, Gary Gettinger, Sue Payne, David Gettinger, his racing buddies Larry Dudley, Jason Payne, Rodney Williams, Cameron Dudley; many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and friends who will sadly miss him.

Funeral Service were conducted on Monday, December 28, 2009 at 1 PM at the DeClue Family Chapel with Rev. Firman Gettinger officiating. Serving as pallbearers were John Gibson, Art Maxwell, Tracy Maxwell, Dick Doty, Steve Todd and Larry Dudley.

Interment and final prayers were held at Caledonia Methodist Cemetery. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the DeClue Family Funeral Home.
