Francis Carter

Francis Ray Carter of Potosi, Missouri, departed this life on January 29, 2006 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri, having reached the age of 47 years, 10 months and 1 day. Francis was born on March 28, 1958 at Hopewell, Missouri, a son of Floyd Carter and the late Mary Catherine (Wilkerson) Carter.

On June 10, 1980, he was united in marriage to Tina Riddle at Owensville, Missouri and to this union one daughter was born. They shared over twenty-five years of marriage together. Francis was a loving and devoted husband and father.

Those who remain to mourn the passing of his life include, his wife Tina Carter of Potosi; his father, Floyd Carter of Potosi; his daughter, Angela Carter of Potosi; his grandson, Noah Carter of Potosi; two brothers, Daniel Carter and wife Vicki of Potosi and Harold Carter of Farmington; one sister, Jackie Warden and husband Randy of Potosi; nieces; nephews and many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss him.

A visitation service was held for him on Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi. All arrangements were entrusted to the care and direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
